Mr. Nihill's responsibilities include assessing the strategic options of Northeast Capital's clients, performing financial analyses and valuations, and analyzing, structuring, and negotiating merger and acquisition transactions. Recent projects in which Mr. Nihill has had pivotal roles include four buy side community bank acquisitions, a platform insurance agency purchase for two community bank clients, appraising blocks of community bank stocks for estate tax purposes, advising banks in selling or buying wealth management operations, and appraising the value of core deposit intangibles in a branch purchase.

When not working directly with clients, Mr. Nihill researches regional and national topics of interest in the financial institutions sector and maintains Northeast Capital's proprietary financial models.

Mr. Nihill joined Northeast Capital in May 2003. He received his B.S. from Cornell University and his M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a CFA Charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of Rochester.

Elizabeth Koulos is an Associate at Northeast Capital. Prior to joining Northeast Capital in 2004, Ms. Koulos worked at JPMorgan Chase.

Ms. Koulos' experience at Northeast Capital includes all facets of corporate finance and consulting. She has recently developed substantive expertise in issues pertaining to “going private” assignments, being responsible for three such assignments, including Northway Financial, Inc.'s reverse stock split transaction, and First Ipswich Bancorp's common stock exchange for preferred stock. Ms. Koulos has also participated in eight merger transactions, three branch purchase or sale transactions, and an $8 million private placement.

Ms. Koulos holds an M.B.A. from the Simon Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Niagara University.
